TOR Foundation is focused on understanding the scope of and exploring solutions to the growing problem of shark overfishing and its impact on scalloped hammerhead sharks in The Republic of Panama.
MUTA was approached by this newly formed foundation to craft a brand identity that appealed to a new generation.
When working on the brand identity for TOR, we had one thing in mind: To treat it as a trendy brand, as opposed to an institutional foundation vibe.
We designed the logo using the shape of Panama as a base. We also created a custom illustration of the Hammerhead Shark for the brand.
We crafted the MOTTO “The Shark Conservation Society” and invited people to join through purchasing TOR’s merch.
All of the proceeds go to funding its research to protect and conserve the marine ecosystem.
